Reception Applications 2024
If your child’s fifth birthday is between 1 September 2024 and 31 August 2025 then you will need to apply for a place at Primary School starting September 2024.
We currently have 60 places in our Reception class. Applications for Reception places for 2024/2025 will be processed and co-ordinated by Staffordshire County Council.
Applications for a Reception place at our Academy should be made directly with Staffordshire County Council. The application process opens on 31st October 2023 and closes on 15th January 2024 . Offers of Reception places will be sent on 17th April 2024, online applicants will receive an email. For paper applications offers will be made in writing and posted second class on this date. Nursery Applications 2024
Nursery September 2024 places are available for children who turn 3 between 1st September 2023 to 31st August 2024.
Applications for Nursery places for 2024/2025 will be processed and co-ordinated by Etching Hill CE Primary Academy. . The online application process opens on 5th January at 8am, the closing date is 3rd March 2024 at 12pm. Please complete the application form linked below and return to admissions@etchinghillprimary.academy (paper copies are also available in our school office).
Offers of Nursery places will be emailed to those who have been successful during May 2024 (date to be confirmed).
At Etching Hill we like to offer personal visits with a member of the senior management team to enable our prospective parents to ask as many questions as is needed in order for you to gain a wealth of information about our school. However, this is not something that we can currently do in light of the restrictions in place, so instead we are organising virtual show arounds to enable us to continue to provide families with the opportunity to see our setting in action, ‘meet’ with staff and get a really good feel for our school. Please contact our school office who will be happy to arrange a mutually convenient virtual show around.
